ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 22000:2005
On July 28, 1999 Hotel Komodor in Dubrovnik was awarded the ISO 9001:2000 Certification under the supervision from UKAS. The certificate was emitted by Bureau Veritas Certification Croatia, certifiying that the Management System of Hotel Komodor has been audited and found to be in accordance with the requirements of the standard ISO 9001:2000.

On August 29,2006 Hotel Komodor was the first hotel in Croatia to be awarded the certificate ISO 22000:2005. This certificate is emitted by Bureau Veritas Quality which specifies "requirements for a food safety management system where an organization in the food chain needs to demonstrate its ability to control food safety hazards in order to ensure that food is safe at the time of human consumption" (ISO,2007). As to provide our guests with delicious, but more importantly safe meals, we are proud to be the first hotel awarded this certificate and we are continuously dedicated in keeping these high standards in food safety management, but also throughout all departments, in order to satisfy our guests and keep them coming back again and again.
